Description

This module takes little more space than the original ROM and can transform your Kawai drum machine in sixteen different ones using a 16 position rotary switch:

Kawai R100 – 1987
Kawai R50 – 1988
Kawai R50e – 1988
Linndrum – 1982
E-mu SP12 – 1985
Roland TR808 – 1981
Roland TR909 – 1984
Akai XR10 – 1990
Cheetah MD16 – 1991
Emu Drumulator – 1983
Oberheim DMX – 1980
Simmons SDS5 – 1981
Sequential TOM – 1985
Yamaha RY30 – 1991
Dr. Bohm – 1982
and a special sound bank designed by Portuguese film composer Pedro Janela.

The sounds can be switched in realtime while using the drum machine!

Simple installation, no soldering needed. Just remove U24 (U23 in R50/R50e) from its socket and place this module.
The thin pins won’t damage the IC socket, you can revert at any moment. Everything in the first picture is included.

The kit includes a knob, an Allen key and a quality plastic sticker with the banks names/positions.

ATTENTION: the module is a bit too high for Kawai R50 or R50e.
If you want to install this on a R50 or R50e you must remove the IC socket or ask me for the normal previous 8 bank version. You can also ask me for a special low profile socket that will also work (check last picture – not included).

Free shipping to anywhere in the world.
